Boracay: Sunsets, Sand, and Unforgettable Delights
Boracay 2018 trip: From stylish arrival on a private speedboat to unforgettable sunsets, food delights, and the unique sand, pure magic!
Today, I'm taking you on a special adventure to Boracay with my trusty travel buddy, Pandamonium. It's a trip filled with surprises, sunsets, and some of the finest sand you'll ever see. Let's dive in!
Arrival in Style
So, I landed in Boracay, a tad later than Pandamonium, who had some business meetings on the island. We were set to stay at the newly opened Crimson Boracay, and boy, did they know how to welcome guests!
The airport representative was there to whisk me away, and next thing I knew, I was on a Crimson-branded private speedboat, cruising towards the island. Imagine that! Slicing through the waters, feeling the cool breeze, and witnessing a sunrise that could steal your breath away. Talk about an entrance!
Crimson Boracay: A Haven of Privacy
Now, Crimson's not just any resort; it's nestled in Station Zero. It shares a secluded cove with Moevenpick Hotel and Shangri-la Boracay, giving it a vibe of exclusivity that I absolutely adored. The privacy meant I could snap some fantastic photos without a worry in the world.
The Sand: A Wonder of Nature
Living in Indonesia, you'd think I'd be used to beautiful beaches. But Boracay? Its sand is something else. Soft, powdery, and pristine - it's a quality that never ceases to amaze me. Walking on it is like stepping on a cloud.
Food Adventures
Ah, the food in Boracay! From Choriburger to barbecued innards, every bite is a culinary fiesta. And the calamansi muffins? A revelation! Even though they've been around, it was our first time at that particular restaurant. Let's not forget Jony's Banana Peanut Butter Milkshake. Pure joy in a glass.
The Beach Life
We're not big on partying; in fact, we might even qualify as boring people. But give us a couple of cocktails, and we could spend hours just staring at the beach. There's something mesmerizing about the waves, the sand, and the laid-back atmosphere that just hooks you in.
Sunsets: The Heart of Boracay
Now, the best part? The sunsets. There's magic in the way the sun dips into the horizon, painting the sky with shades of orange, pink, and gold. It's a sight that gets me every time, a moment frozen in time, a memory etched in my heart.
Boracay is more than a tourist destination; it's a place that connects with your soul. Whether it's the luxurious comfort of Crimson, the delectable food, or the simple joy of watching the sun set, every part of the island is an experience waiting to be savored.
So, if you find yourself longing for a beach that feels like a dream, pack your bags and head to Boracay. Trust me; it's worth it.
Be well,
YRB
